Après des études de piano classique au Conservatoire de Caen, Alexandre Chebassier entre à l'American School of Modern Music pour travailler la composition, l'arrangement et l'improvisation. Il rencontre alors de nombreux musiciens et joue dans diverses formations. On le retrouvera notamment aux côtés de Ronan Keating, Vanessa Paradis, Zazie, Le roi soleil... Alexandre Chebassier est également compositeur de musiques de théâtre pour Marion Game,Philip Nicolik, Olivier Lejeune, Patrice Lafond, Henri Guybet, Georges Beller...
Alexandre Chebassier travaille en collaboration avec son frère Christophe Chebassier auteur.
